Services Friday For Anna Rickert

Services were held Friday afternoon at the United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery. She died at a Waterloo nursing home last Wednesday. She was 82 years old. The body was taken to the French funeral home in Reinbeck where arrangements were made.

Anna Rickert was born Dec. 10, 1881, in Scott county, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Emma Strohbehn Rickert. They moved to the Reinbeck community in 1882 and she lived there the balance of her life. She was one of nine children; William, Emil and Clara Levers preceded her in death.

Surviving are Bertha Shoup and Herman, of Reinbeck; Elmer, Elgin, Minn.; Frank, of Denver, Colorado; and Dorothy Paton of Hudson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
