H. K. Muller Dies At Grundy Hospital

Heine K. Muller, a Pleasant Valley township farmer, died on Thursday at the Grundy hospital of uremia. He had been in failing health the past three years.

He would have been 82 years old June 20. He was born on a farm in Pleasant Valley township. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Klaas Muller and he grew up on the farm and was married Feb. 28, 1917, in Grundy county to Florence Kalkwarf.

The body was taken to the Engelkes funeral home in Grundy Center where funeral arrangements were made. Services were held Monday afternoon at the Pleasant Valley Reformed church two miles west of Fern.

The service was conducted by the resident pastor, Rev. Gerald Osland. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church. He had been a farmer in north Grundy many years. The body was taken from the funeral home to the farm home Saturday morning.

Surviving are the wife and three sons. The sons are Clarence, from Reinbeck, John, Parkersburg and Harvey who is at home; nine grandchildren. Other surviving members of his family are one sister, Mrs. Sara Wirtjes, Grundy Center; three brothers; Jacob of Dike, J. K., from Parkersburg and Klaas from Cedar Falls.
