John Lutterman Dies Monday After Long Illness
John Lutterman died about 11:30 Monday night at his home two miles south of Wellsburg following an illness of the heart that left him an invalid during most of the past year. During the week prior to his death the end was momentarily expected.
Mr. Lutterman was 63 years old in July. He was born on a farm three miles south of Wellsburg and spent all of his life in that neighborhood. He devoted his entire life to farming at which he was successful.
Funeral services will be held at the home shortly following noon on Thursday, and later at the Reformed church in Wellsburg with the local pastor, Rev. Wm. Landsiedel, officiating.
Surviving are the wife and four children. The children are two sons, George and Jerry, and two daughters, Mrs. Conrad Molendorp and LaVerne. There are five brothers and three sisters living. The brothers are Jerry, Henry, Albert and Jake from this community and Dr. Eldridge Lutterman from Antioch, Ill. The sisters are Mrs. Ben Hook and Tena Lutterman from here and Mrs. Harry Schwager from Blue Earth, Minn.
