George A. Ohling died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home of his son Andrew, five miles southwest of Wellsburg. Old age and complications was the cause. He was 76 years old on the 18th of last May.

Funeral services were held at the home of the son, Andrew, Tuesday afternoon and later at the Reformed church in Wellsburg. Rev. Wm. Landsiedel was the officiating pastor. The remains were laid beside the wife in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mr. Ohling was born in Germany. He was married in that country. He and his family came to America 21 years ago. They began farming near Wellsburg after they came to this country. His wife died five years ago. He remained in his home in Wellsburg after his wife's death and lived alone excepting the time that he spent at the homes of his children.

Surviving children are Mrs. Wiert Meyer from Bradford, Mrs. E. H. Schoolman, Parkersburg, and John, Andrew and Edward, who live on farms in this locality. Pallbearers were Christ Neessen, Harm Rust, W. E. Knock, Andrew Murra, Menno Bunger and Wm. Lindaman.
