Mrs. G. A. Ohling passed away at the Deaconess hospital at Marshalltown Sunday, where she was taken last Thursday for a third operation. She had been suffering from liver trouble for a number of months. Her body was brought back Monday.

Mrs. Ohling was born in Wubbens, Ostfriesland, Germany, October 5th, 1865, and was joined in holy wedlock to George Alberts Ohling in 1885. To this union were born seven children, of whom four sons, Kuno, John, Andrew and Edward, and two daughters, Mrs. W. Meyer and Mrs. E. Schoolman, and the husband, all of Wellsburg, survive, together with five grandchildren and one brother and one sister living in Germany.

They came to this country in 1913 and in 1914 went to housekeeping on the same farm north of Wellsburg from which they retired in 1930, having rented the same farm all of these years. They have made their home in Wellsburg the past year.

Mrs. Ohling was 65 years, 8 months and 23 days old at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held from the Wellsburg Reformed church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. Landsiedel officiating. Interment was made in the Wellsburg Reformed cemetery.
