Former Wellsburg Woman Found Dead In Bed

Mrs. Henry Mommer, who lived at Wellsburg during the earlier part of her life, was found dead in bed at her home in Ellsworth last Thursday morning. She had been afflicted with dropsy for a year, but her condition was not regarded as serious.

Mrs. Mommer's maiden name was Katheryn Bruns. She was married to Henry Mommer May 25, 1910. Several years after her marriage the family lived at Wellsburg where Mr. Mommer operated a meat market. From there they moved to Buckeye where they were engaged to business until a recent fire burned them out. They moved to Buckeye a month ago. Mrs. Mommer was 39 years old.

Mrs. Mommer is survived by her husband, two daughters and one son. The daughters are Dolores and Mrs. Raymond Garret. The son's name is Harold. Mrs. Mommer's sister, Mrs. Aise Rust, lives at Wellsburg. There are two brothers, Henry, from Lennox, So. Dak., and Dick from Rushmore.

The remains were sent to Wellsburg. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Landsiedel were held at the Reformed church Saturday afternoon. Burial was in the Reformed church cemetery.
