Mrs. Henry Primus Dies Suddenly Monday Night
Mrs. Henry Primus died suddenly at nine o'clock Monday night at her home 3 miles southeast of Wellsburg from a heart attack. Her heart had been giving her some trouble the past two months, but that was not regarded as serious. The attack came on without warning Monday night and she died almost instantly. She was 66 years old on the 9th of last May.
Funeral services will be held in the Reformed church at Wellsburg Friday afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. Wm. Landsiedel. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.
Mrs. Primus was born in Colfax township and she grew up there. Her maiden name was Berntje Jaspers. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Jaspers. Following her marriage to Henry Primus the couple lived in Wellsburg a few years, after which they moved on the Primus farm.
Immediate surviving members of her family are her husband, two sons and six daughters. The sons are Jake from Green Mountain and Claus from Holland. The daughters are Mrs. Joe Ross, Mrs. Ben Wiltfang, Mrs. Wm. Stoehr and Mrs. William Koch, all from Grundy county, and Ruth and Helen from Minneapolis.
Other surviving relatives are four sisters. They are Mrs. Wm. Knock, Mrs. D. J. Peters from Wellsburg, Mrs. John Neessen of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Martin Thomas, Marshalltown.
