Mrs. Ed Schoolman Died At Independence Hosp.

Mrs. Ed Schoolman died last Sunday at the state hospital in Independence. She had been in failing health for several months. She had been a patient at the state hospital the past four years. Had she lived until today she would have been 78 years old. Her body was brought here Monday.

Mrs. Schoolman's maiden name was Bussina Rindels. She was born in Germany. She and her family came to this country in 1901. They came direct to this county and resided here continually ever since.

The husband died 25 years ago. Their only son, Ihne, is in the state hospital at Knoxville.

Surviving relatives are four brothers. They are Simon, Ackley; Jake, Wellsburg; Reinhart, Allison, and Hilbrandt, Eldora.

Funeral services were held at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Reformed church. Rev. Landsiedel officiated at the service. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.
