Richard Rindels Dies At Waverly Hospital

Richard Rindels died early Monday morning at St. Joseph Mercy hospital in Waverly where he had been confined for several months for treatment. He suffered from cancer of the stomach. He was 69 years old and had been a resident of Wellsburg the past 54 years.

Funeral services were held at the home of Jake Rindels at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon and later at the Reformed church. Rev. Wm. Landsiedel conducted the services. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

There are four surviving brothers. They are Sam from Ackley, Jake at Wellsburg, Riner from Allison and Hilbrand from Eldora. The one sister, Mrs. Ed Schoolman, lives at Independence.
