Huisman Infant's Funeral Friday

Funeral services were held for Howard James Huisman, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Huisman, on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Roger Treadway officiated at the services, and the child was laid to rest in St. Paul's cemetery.

The child was born on July 29, 1959, in the Des Moines General Hospital. Shortly after birth the child was transferred to the Raymond Blank Memorial Hospital for Children in Des Moines, where he died of a congenital heart ailment on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 7:35 p.m.

The child is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Huisman, two brothers, Allen and David; two sisters, Sandra and Debra; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Dick Huisman, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Shephard of Bethesda, Ohio; and the maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Taylor of Morristown, Ohio.
