Herman Stock Rites Held Wednesday

Services for Herman R. Stock, 81, who died Sunday evening at the Grundy County Memorial hospital of a heart attack, were Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church in Reinbeck. Burial was in the cemetery at Morrison.

Herman Stock was born August 18, 1886, in Floyd county, Iowa. He was the son of August and Louisa Stock.

Mr. Stock and his bride, Grace Poppinga, lived in Morrison where he was manager of the Morrison Cooperative Elevator for 28 years. Mrs. Stock passed away June 5, 1939. In 1940 Mr. Stock married his wife's sister, Mrs. Kathryn Bezel. She died October 1964 at Dumont.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Georgia Scovel of Oelwein; Mrs. Iris Norwood of Ft. Hunchuea, Arizona; Mrs. Audrey Lear, Lodi, California; four sons, Walter J. and Henry W., Grundy Center; Charles E., Sioux City and Merle H., Des Moines.

French Funeral Home, Reinbeck, was in charge of arrangements.
