Mrs. Susie Miller Dies In Hospital

Mrs. Susie Miller, a longtime resident of Washington township and Reinbeck, died at the Grundy hospital last Friday. She was 79 years old.

The body was taken to the French funeral home in Reinbeck where funeral arrangements were made.

Services were held Monday afternoon in the United Presbyterian church in Reinbeck. Burial was by the side of the husband in the Washington township cemetery, near Morrison.

Mrs. Millers' maiden name was Susie Hyland. She and James Miller were married in Davenport and resided on the Miller farm in Washington township during all of their married life. Mr. Miller died several years ago. Mrs. Miller had resided in Reinbeck about ten years before she was brought to the hospital.

Surviving are four sons and one daughter. The sons are Harold, who resides on the home farm; Ivan, Minneapolis; Friend on a farm near Reinbeck; and William, Los Angeles. The daughter is Mrs. Cora Pattee, who resides in California.

Other survivors are many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
