Private funeral services were held at the Ferree Funeral Home in Grundy Center on Wednesday morning for the premature son, Steven, born to Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hood on Monday at the Grundy County Memorial hospital at Grundy Center. He lived for ten hours. Burial was at the Washington Township cemetery. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and three brothers, paternal grandmother, Floy Hood of Reinbeck, and the maternal grandparents in Missouri.
