Wallace Kolthoff Services Thursday

Wallace Kolthoff, 71, of Steamboat Rock, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 1998, at his residence of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, at Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home Chapel in Ackley. Rev. Ronald Fischer will officiate. The burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wellsburg at 1 p.m. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established.

Wallace was born October 24, 1927, in Cleves the son of Hilko and Christina Ascher Kolthoff. He attended Clay Twp. #1 country school. He was in the U. S. Army Inf. during the Korean War.

He attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wellsburg.

He is survived by 1 brother, Ted Kolthoff of Eldora; 2 sisters, Henrietta Fluth of Grundy Center and Catherine Richardson of Eldora; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers, Elmer, Amos and August Kolthoff.

The Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home in Ackley is in charge of the arrangements.
