At her home south of town, last Tuesday evening at 9:30 o'clock, Mrs. H. F. Heetland, aged sixty-one years, eight months and twenty-one days. She was born in Germany and came to this country when quite young. She was Mr. Heetland's second wife, stepmother to Henry, Paul and John. She was the mother of three children, Lewie is the only one living, the others having died in infancy. Mrs. Heetland's death was caused from a tumor or internal ulcerations from which she has suffered a number of years. The funeral occurred today at 12:00 o'clock. Services were held at the Smith's church, Rev. Smith officiating. The remains were interred in the cemetery near the Leister farm by the side of her two children. The relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.
