Rites Monday For Menno Buskohl

Services were Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Colfax Center Presbyterian church for Menno Buskohl, age 90, who passed away April 27 at the Countryside Nursing Home in Grundy Center. Burial was in the Colfax Center cemetery with Rev. Gene Straatmeyer officiating.

Menno Buskohl was born at Forreston, Illinois, December 17, 1876, the son of the Behrend Buskohls. He was married to Annie Lindaman, March 1, 1904, in German township. They farmed in German, Lincoln, and Colfax townships. He retired to Holland in 1947. He was a patient at the Grundy County Memorial hospital July 28, 1966, and transferred to the Countryside Nursing Home on December 17, 1966.

He is survived by one son, Bernard, at Holland; one daughter, Annie, at home at Holland; one brother, Henry of Dike; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters, six brothers, and three sisters.
