Tena Miller, 90, of Wellsburg, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000, at the Friendship Manor in Wellsburg of natural causes.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church in Wellsburg. Pastor Thomas Vos officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Tena was born Jan. 7, 1910, in rural Wellsburg. Tena was the daughter of William W. and Gertie Murra Sanders. She married David Miller on Jan. 10, 1930, at the parsonage of the First Christian Reformed Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David, her parents; brothers, an infant brother George, George, William, Andrew, Harm and Gust; sisters, an infant sister Sadie, Sadie (Mrs. George Huisenga), Helen (Mrs. Claus Risus), Carrie (Mrs. Walter Harms), Mae (Mrs. August Kolthoff) and Minnie (Mrs. Joe Delger).

Tena is survived by her daughter Marilyn and her husband John Bintz of National City, CA; a son, David Miller of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, June Sanders of Aplington.

Doyen-Abels Funeral Home, Wellsburg, was in charge of the arrangements.
