Mrs. Harm Frerichs Dies Suddenly, Funeral Monday

Mrs. Harm J. Frerichs, 68, died suddenly at her home in Wellsburg sometime Thursday morning.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday in the John Frerichs home here and later in the Wellsburg Reformed Church. Rev. George C. Poppen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Special music for the service was by soloist Mrs. Geo. Poppen, and Miss Marcella Neessen was organist. Flower attendants were Mrs. Louis Wulf and Miss Bertha Doyen.

Alfred H. Meyer, Marcus A. Meyer, Eldon A. Meyer, Bernard H. Stahl, Jake Jaspers and Thomas Flessner Sr. served as pall bearers.

Obituary
Bertha Meyer was born June 2, 1889 in Colfax township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Meyer.

She was united in marriage to Harm J. Frerichs on March 23, 1910, and the couple made their home in Wellsburg. This union was blessed with one child, John Marvin Frerichs, who also makes his home in Wellsburg.

Mrs. Frerichs was a member of the Wellsburg Reformed Church, which she joined May 8, 1922, and continued to serve as a faithful member until her death.

She leaves to mourn her son, John, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents, her husband on March 21, 1940, three brothers and five sisters.

Mrs. Frerichs had reached the age of 68 years, 11 months and 6 days at the time of her death.
