Mrs. Heddens, 80, Dies In Florida

Mrs. Stuart Ashby received word of the death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. John (Maxine) Heddens, 80, of Winter Park, FL on Tuesday, August 7. She passed away of a massive heart attack at the hospital in Winter Park. Her body was cremated. Burial will be held at a later date at the Wellsburg Reformed Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Heddens was born Maxine Shoesmith at Guthrie Center, IA. In 1926 she graduated from the University of Iowa at Iowa City. She was married to John Heddens. The Heddens were residents of Glen Ellyn, IL before moving to Florida.

Survivors are her husband of Winter Park, FL; a son, John Heddens Jr. of Mt. Prospect, IL; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Hopley of Warminster, PA; a sister, Mrs. Maudine Studier of Massachusetts, also seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
