Mrs. Harm Davids Died Friday at Son's Home

Mrs. Harm Davids died last Friday at the home of her son, Henry Gelders, in Wellsburg. She had been in failing health for two years. Old age and general debility were given as the cause of her death. She was 87 years old.

A short funeral service was held at the home Monday noon and later at the Engelke church in German township with Rev. Engelke officiating. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mrs. Davids was twice married. Both of her husbands preceded her in death. Her second husband died about twenty years ago. Since that time she made her home with her son in Wellsburg. Two years ago she became blind and this sorry condition remained until the end.

Surviving relatives aside from the son Henry are another son, Dick Gelders from Wellsburg, and two daughters, Mrs. John Seehuisen living near Fern and Mrs. Andrew Geerdes from Cleves. All of the children are from the first marriage and they were all born in Germany, where the first husband died.
