Irene Dunn Services Held

Irene Dunn, 81, of Algona, formerly of Wellsburg, died Tuesday, March 30 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Algona of natural causes.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the Second Christian Reformed Church in Wellsburg. Burial followed in the Shiloh Township Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

Irene was born the daughter of John and Minnie Abbas Krull, Sr. on October 1, 1911 in Wellsburg. She attended school in Wellsburg. On July 24, 1954 she was married to Charles Dunn in Wells, MN.

She is survived by 2 brothers, George Krull of Grundy Center and Alfred (Bud) Krull of Wellsburg; 2 sisters, Jane Holcomb of Eldora, and Grace Trailer of Vallejo, CA; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on September 1, 1991; her parents; an infant brother, Aeilt; and 3 brothers, Henry, Dagan, and John.

The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the arrangements.
