TACK, LINDEMAN, VANHAUEN

Kenneth Alvin Tack son of Richard & Etta (Lindeman) Tack was born on Saturday November 17, 1923 in rural Wellsburg. He was received into Heaven on February 26, 2014, in Grundy Center.

Kenneth graduated 8th Grade at German Number 6, a one room Country School in 1937. Kenneth graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1941.

On February 1, 1944, Kenneth accepted Christ as his Savior through John 3:36. “He that believeth on the Son hath Everlasting Life.”

On June 10, 1952, Kenneth was united in marriage to Beulah Mae (VanHauen) Tack at the Women’s Club House in Cedar Falls, Iowa. They begin to farm the ‘home-place’, which became a Century Farm in 1982.

Kenneth was proceeded in death by his parents Richard & Etta Tack, his brother & sister in law Harvey & Margret Tack, his brother & sister-in-law Melvin & Janet Tack, his brother Lawrence, his brother & sister-in-law Richard (Dale) & Laverne Tack. He is survived by his wife Beulah Tack of Wellsburg, his son & daughter-in-law Kendall & Maria Tack, their son Remington Tack also of Wellsburg, his daughter & son-in-law Andrew & Kaylene (Tack) Roberts and their children Kenneth & Anna Roberts of Columbia, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Hitesville Gospel Hall rural Aplington, Iowa, with burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery, rural Wellsburg, Iowa.

Visitation will be Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Redman-Schwartz Chapel in Aplington and 1 hour prior to services at the Hall.

Memorials may be directed to his family.
