Mr. Meyer passed away around 3 o'clock Friday afternoon Aug. 10 at his home northwest of Wellsburg due to complications of advanced age. He reached the age of 89 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Siebe was born August 14, 1883, on a farm 1 3/4 miles south of the First Christian Reformed Church near Wellsburg, the son of Harm S. and Claaska (Eiten) Meyer. Due to declining health he retired from active farming a number of years ago but continued to enjoy the outdoors until he was confined to his home the last few years.
