Eilt Ennenga, 83, Dies, Services To Be Thursday

Funeral services for Eilt Ennenga, 83, of Holland, who passed away at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, Monday will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colfax Presbyterian Church.

Rev. David Dupee will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Colfax Center cemetery. Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home of Grundy Center is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ennenga was born Dec. 13, 1887 on a farm west of Grundy Center, the son of Seipt and Ailtje Ennenga. He was married to Kate Eckhoff on March 6, 1917 in the home of George Knock. He worked as a farm laborer on various farms until 1948 when they moved to Holland.

Survivors include his widow; five sons, Clarence and Dale of Grundy Center, LeRoy, Donald and Arnold of Holland; three daughters, Mrs. Hans (Izetta) Kuehl of Grundy Center, Mrs. Jake (Esther) Heeren of Holland and Mrs. LeRoy (Mildred) Saveraid of Raymond, Iowa.

Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Emmett (Dena) Wilson of Waterloo, 14 grandchildren and ? great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson, four sisters and two brothers.
