Mrs. Heltibridle Rites Were Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Heltibridle, 82, of Steamboat Rock, who died June 22 at the Grundy County Memorial hospital after a long illness, were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Alice Church of God, north of Conrad.
The Rev. H. L. Heim officiated and burial was in the Alice cemetery.
Vocalists were Royce Luiken and John Frerichs Jr., organist Mrs. Harry Luiken. Pallbearers were Donovan Heltibridle, Darwin Heltibridle, Lauren McCall, David McCall, Eugene Callaway and Robert Callaway. Mrs. James Boston, Mrs. Rick Moeller and Mrs. Larry Hansen took care of the flowers.
Lela L. Heltibridle was born in Grundy county, Jan. 15, 1894, the daughter of Peter and Maggie Baasch, and married Harry Heltibridle Sept. 16, 1914. They lived on a farm in Grundy county until they moved to Steamboat Rock in 1950. She was a member of the Alice Church of God, and the Dorcas Society of the Baptist Church at Steamboat Rock.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Dwight Heltibridle and Lyle Heltibridle of Grundy Center, three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Thelma) McCall of Eldora, Mrs. Glen (Lola) Callaway of Steamboat Rock, and Mrs. Edward (Irene) Naumann of Eldora; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Andrle and Creps Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
