Harry Fink, 75, who had farmed the past 20 years northeast of Liscomb, passed away Sunday evening at 7:30 at the Evangelical hospital in Marshalltown where he had been a patient since Thursday. He had been in failing health for more than a year.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Alice Church of God north of Conrad. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. R. W. Hill, Liscomb, officiated.

Mr. Fink was born Feb. 16, 1879, in Illinois, the son of Andrew and Henrietta Fink. As a small child, he came to Grundy county with his parents and lived two miles north of the Alice Church.

He was married to Louise Rudy at Liscomb, Oct. 7, 1908. They farmed near Grundy Center for nine years and near Marble Rock for 15 years. For the last 20 years he had lived northeast of Liscomb.

Mr. Fink was a deacon in the Liscomb Christian Church.

Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Smith of Marble Rock; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Al Kline, Conrad; three brothers, Clyde of Liscomb, Guy of DeKalb, Ill. and George in Tennessee. He was one of 11 children. A brother, Ralph Fink of the Alice community, died three weeks ago.
