Services Held For Former Dike Resident

Thomas Clark of Reinbeck, formerly of Dike, passed away Saturday, December 9, 1995, at his home of a heart attack, having attained the age of 58 years, 4 months, and 19 days.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 12, 1995, at the Alice Church of God in rural Conrad, Iowa with Pastor James C. Snare officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bob Clark, Michael Clark, Robert Clark, Jr., Roger Clark, Douglas Dannen, and James Dannen.

Born July 20, 1937, in Marshalltown, Thomas was the son of Gilbert and Ida (Katzer) Clark. He was employed by Goodwill Industries in Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant brother.

Survivors include three sisters, Donna Larsen and husband Dallas of Rogers, Arkansas, Julia White and husband Ronald of Olathe, Kansas, and Debra Dannen and husband Paul of Hampton; two brothers, Roger Clark of rural Dike, and Robert Clark and wife Eva of rural Cedar Falls; fifteen nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established. The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, was in charge of funeral arrangements.
