Fannie Eckhoff, 79, 605 S. Washington St., Wellsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 14, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center of natural causes.
Services were set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wellsburg Reformed Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established.
She was born to Helmer and Cobonee Brower Kruse Oct. 5, 1913, on a farm northeast of Wellsburg. She graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1932.
On Feb. 1, 1939, she married George Anderson at the Wellsburg Reformed Church. He died Sept. 12, 1982. She married George Eckhoff June 1, 1984, in Nashua, and he died Jan. 20, 1988. She moved into Wellsburg in January 1983.
She was a member of the Wellsburg Reformed Church, Reformed Church Women, Senior Citizens Group, the Wellsburg Community Club and the Shiloh Homemakers.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Eunice (Mrs. Gary) Frerichs; six step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands; a son, Roger; a brother, Dick; a sister, Vernie; and a stepson, Vernon Eckhoff.
