John Heinken was found dead Tuesday morning in John Fluth's pasture. When found he was lying a few feet from the well where it is thought he went to get a drink. Both Drs. Heddens and Chinn went out to examine him and they pronounced the cause of his death alcoholism. He had been on a spree for several days and Monday night he was wandering around all the time. He was about thirty years old.

Grundy Center, June 19.--

Another fatality in the county yesterday, was that of the death of John Heikens [sic], a young man of the same age as Grievel [sic]. He was found dead in his yard in the afternoon. Heart disease was the cause.

There has been considerable talk around here this week of taking up the remains of John Heinkens who died very suddenly last week. There has been talk about foul play but Dr. Heddens who was one of the physicians who examined the dead man said that he bore no marks that would indicate that death came in any other way than it was found to be at the inquest. There has been nothing done about taking up the remains.
