George Frederick Dies After Lingering Ailment

Funeral services were held for Geo. Frederick Sunday afternoon at the Avey funeral home here at 2:30, in charge of Rev. John Ludemann. Burial was made in Conrad cemetery.

Mr. Frederick died Thursday morning after being hospitalized for three years at the Deaconess. Death was caused by pneumonia.

George Frederick was born Aug. 6, 1863, at Wilkes Barre, Pa., one of a family of nine children. On Dec. 21, 1887, he was united in marriage to Linnie Kimble, who preceded him in death April 29, 1929. To this union was born a daughter, Mrs. E. F. Thorman of here, and a son Robert of Des Moines, both of whom survive their father.

Since 1930 he had made his home with his daughter here until the time he entered the Deaconess in 1943.

Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Hugo Hilker of Hubbard; Mrs. Harry Wheeler of Alliance, Ohio, and Mrs. Stanley Byrd of Goggon; and one brother, H. E. Frederick of here.

Mr. Frederick was a highly respected citizen, and leaves a large circle of friends to mourn his passing.

Pall bearers: John Binder, A. B. Cooper, Cal Crouse, Billie Franzenburg, W. G. Lounsberry, E. R. Murphy.

Flower bearers: Ruth Crouse, Bess Cohen, Grace Wilhelm.
