Services Held For Aruther Kolthoff, 41

Aruther L. Kolthoff of Ackley passed away on Wednesday, July 8.

Funeral services were held at the Ackley Christian Reformed Church at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 13, Rev. Floyd DeBoer officiated.

The organist was Mae Brower. Singers were Dennis Hippen and Gordon Hippen.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Risius, Dennis Kolthoff, Teddy Kolthoff, Ron Kolthoff, Merlyn Brass and Virgil Harms.

Meint VanHove and Dennis Miller served as ushers.

Interment was in the First Christian Reformed Cemetery, Wellsburg.

Friends and relatives were invited to return to the church following the committal services for a period of Christian fellowship and refreshments.

Mr. Kolthoff was born on July 8, the son of Mae and August Kolthoff. He attained the age of 41 years.

He spent most of his young life in country school and graduated from Iowa Falls High School. He joined the Navy at the age of 18 years. He has been working in California and Arizona as a printer.

He is survived by his parents, August and Mae Kolthoff, and a host of other relatives.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara, at age 3 months, in 1949.
