Mrs. Ben Boldt, Holland, Laid To Rest Thursday

Mrs. Ben Boldt, a resident of the Holland community for more than fifty years, passed away at her home early Monday morning, April 22nd, and funeral services were held and interment made from the Lutheran church in Holland on Thursday afternoon, burial being made in the Colfax Presbyterian cemetery.

Mrs. Boldt was born on October 13, 1860, in Eastfriesland, Germany, and came to this country in 1884, settling on a farm with her parents near Hampton. She was married to Ben Boldt in 1885, and to this union four daughters, Mrs. Peter J. Meyer, Mrs. John A. Meyer, Freda and Cathryn Boldt, were born at Holland. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Boldt died in 1938.
