Former Wellsburg Lady Loses Husband

Mrs. G. E. Furgeson of Boise, Idaho, writes the Herald informing us of the death of a Mr. Sickle, of that city, who passed away at the Boise Hospital recently.

"He leaves," she writes, "his widow, who was the former Bauke Huisman, of Wellsburg, and who moved to Idaho, thirty years ago. Mr. Van Sickle was a world war veteran and had been in the mercantile business for 15 years and was well liked by everyone. He was a member of the L. D. S. Church. He is survived by his widow, Bauke Van Sickle and daughter Thelma, and son Herbert, of Boise; also two stepsons, Victor Williams, of Boise, and Clifford Williams, of Seattle, Washington. Funeral services were in charge of the American Legion and burial was made in Morris Hill cemetery."

Many of our readers, no doubt, will remember Mrs. Van Sickle and will grieve with her in the loss of her husband.
