Mrs. John Temple Of Grundy Ctr. Dies
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center for Mrs. John Temple of Grundy Center, who died last Friday at the Country Side Nursing Home in Grundy Center. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.
Mrs. Temple, the former Tena Bleeker, was born August 6, 1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Bleeker, at Wellsburg. She spent her girlhood in the Wellsburg vicinity. On September 14, 1899 she was married to John Temple at Eldora. They resided at Renville, Minnesota a few years and then moved to Grundy Center.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Bristley of Conrad and Mrs. Willie Boleyn of Englewood, Colorado; two sons Everett of Grundy Center and Frank of Charles City; a sister, Mrs. Gus Rindels of Ackley and one brother, Hei Bleeker of Grundy Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and an infant son, four brothers and two sisters.
