Funeral Services For Mrs. Lutterman Held Wednesd'y p.m.

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Lutterman, who died Saturday, October 12, at the home of her son Alvin, were held Wednesday, October 16, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Carl Toeset was the officiating clergyman.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Luwe sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "The Lights of Home". Mrs. Wilbur Knock was organist and Mrs. Ray Toomsen pianist. Mrs. Virgil Claassen and Mrs. John Everts were in charge of the flowers.

The pallbearers were Ben Nederhoff, William P. Riekena, Jans T. Mennenga, Albert Eertmoed, Gratus G. Geerdes, G. G. (Dutch) Riekena. Interment was in the Wellsburg Reformed Church cemetery.

Florence Riekena was born July 23, 1887, to Mr. and Mrs. Behrend Riekena, on a farm west of Wellsburg in Shiloh township. She attended a rural school.

On March 27, 1911, she was united in marriage to Albert J. Lutterman. After their marriage they lived in Wellsburg, later moving to a farm half a mile south of town. In 1946, following the death of her husband, Mrs. Lutterman moved to Wellsburg to live. For the past three months been in the home of her son, Alvin.

Mrs. Lutterman was a faithful attendant of the Second Christian Reformed Church.

Surviving her are two sons, Alvin of Holland and Laurence of Wellsburg; four grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Gratus Riekena, both of Forest City; and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Nederhoff of Wellsburg and Antje, (Mrs. George J. Geerdes) of Steamboat Rock.

Preceding her in death were her husband, who passed away November 13, 1945; her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Gepka Eertmoed and Mrs. Fredrika Mennenga; two brothers, Wiert B. Riekena and Peter B. Riekena; and one granddaughter in infancy.
