Mrs. Jerry Lindeman Of Aplington Dies

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Aplington Baptist church for Mrs. Jerry Lindeman of Aplington, who died at her home Friday morning. The Rev. Donald Patet officiated with burial in the Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindaman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry DeVries, was born August 21, 1875, in Grundy County. She was married March 3, 1898 to Jerry Lindeman and the family spent their entire life farming in the Aplington vicinity.

She is survived by two daughters, Miss Hattie and Miss Mabel, both of Aplington; four sons, William and John of Aplington; Dick of Clarksville and Bernie of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren; one brother, Ben H. DeVries of Aplington and three sisters, Mrs. Peter Kneppe of Parkersburg, Mrs. Heiko Kramer of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mrs. Ben Lindeman of Wellsburg.
