Joseph Gross Dies In Chicago Sept. 19

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gross left Saturday evening for Chicago where they were called by the death Thursday of the former's brother, Joseph Gross. The deceased had entered the hospital there on Tuesday of last week when he suffered a stroke.

Funeral services were held on Monday.

Survivors include the wife, also one son, Helmuth and two grandchildren, all of Chicago. There are also two sisters and one brother in Germany who survive and Fred Gross of Wellsburg.

Mr. Gross was 71 years of age at the time of his passing. He came to the United States in 1921 and made his home at Wellsburg. For the past 36 years the Gross family had resided in Chicago.
