Mrs. R. Lindaman Dies Tuesday a.m.; Services Friday

Mrs. Richard Lindaman passed away at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. She had been a patient in the hospital since last Thursday.

Survivors include her husband, of Wellsburg; four children, John R. of Ackley, Mary (Mrs. Joe Cobie), Ackley, Fred of Waterloo, and Delbert B. of Wellsburg; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; also two half-sisters, Alena and Adelia Hickman of Wellsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the home and at 1:30 p.m. at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church.

Services Held for Mrs. R. Lindaman at E. Friesland Church

Services were held at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church Friday for Mrs. Richard Lindaman, who died in Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo Tuesday, May 28.

The Rev. Peter Eckhoff officiated at the service. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Fred Feikes, organist, accompanied Vivan Fisher and Marlene Oelmann, who sang "Softly and Tenderly" and "Does Jesus Care?" John D., Bert, Martin, Wm. G., Eugene and Ivan Lindaman were the pall bearers.

Mrs. Lindaman, nee Tillie Hickman, daughter of John and Maria Hickman, was born November 18, 1875 in German township, Grundy county, and grew up in the same neighborhood. Her mother died when she was five years old, and a sister also preceded her in death.

She and Richard Lindaman were married on May 16, 1900, and four children were born to them. Mr. and Mrs. Lindaman farmed for 45 years before retiring and moving to Wellsburg.

At an early age Mrs. Lindaman became a communicant member of the East Friesland Presbyterian Church.

Surviving her are her husband; a daughter, Mary (Mrs. Joe Cobie) of Ackley; three sons, John R. of Ackley, Fred of Waterloo, Delbert B. of Wellsburg; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also two half sisters, Alena and Adelia Hickman of Wellsburg.
