Former Wellsburg Man Dies Saturday At Holland, Ia.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. at the home and later at the Christian Reformed church in Holland for Ehne Schoolman who died Saturday at his home from a heart ailment.

Mr. Schoolman, who was sixty-three years of age when he died, was born Feb. 20, 1889 at Loqward, Germany. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schoolman. In 1891 the family came to America and settled at Steamboat Rock.

The deceased and his family were well known in this community having lived on a farm north of Wellsburg and also farmed near Aplington. They later moved to Holland.

Survivors include his widow, a son Edward in the marines and a daughter, Mrs. James Bienfang of Grundy Center.

Interment was made in the Reformed church cemetery at Wellsburg.
