Young Mother Dies Sunday Night

Mrs. Albert M. Ross died at her home near Steamboat Rock about ten o'clock Sunday night. The cause of her death was the result of having teeth extracted a few weeks before which resulted in blood poisoning. Mrs. Ross became the mother of a baby boy five days before her death. The baby is well and sound.

Funeral services were held at the home at ten o'clock Wednesday forenoon, and later at the Christian Reformed church in Wellsburg, with Rev. Boeve officiating. Burial was in the new cemetery.

Mrs. Ross' maiden name was Viola Eberlein, a daughter of F. C. Eberlein. She was born in Pleasant Valley township and lived in this community all her life. She was 31 years old. Eight years ago she was married to Albert Ross and the young people resided on a farm near here during their short married life. There are three children. Aside from the husband and children, Mrs. Ross is survived by her father, three brothers Harry of Marshalltown, Lester of Bristow and Ford, who lives on the home farm. There are four surviving sisters; Mrs. George Harms, of Shiloh township, and the three younger sisters who are at home.

Mrs. Ross was respected and beloved by all who knew her. Her sudden and unexpected passing came as a shock to everyone. The many friends of the family have the sympathy of the entire community.
