Daryl Dean Harrenstein, 58, of Seymour died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, in a Seymour Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Seymour with the Rev. Glenn Shock officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery of Seymour under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Harrenstein was born Sept. 29, 1941, in Grundy County, Iowa to Herman B. and Claradean Kruger Harrenstein. He was raised and farmed in Grundy County for many years until moving to Seymour in 1983. He worked for Gilstrap Harvesting and Morris-Wirz Chevrolet and for the past six years had been employed by Agape Tours. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Seymour where he served as a deacon for eight years as well as being a Sunday School superintendent and served on various committees at the church. He was a former board member of the Seymour Independent School District.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Culliton of Fort Shaw, Mont.; a son, Mark of Seymour, his mother, Claradean Harrenstein of Holland, Iowa; a sister Mrs. Verne (Orene) Eberline of Wellsburg, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
