The death of Lydia Theimer, the six year old daughter of J. J. Theimer, living three miles southeast of town, occurred at about noon last Thursday. The little girl was ill only about twelve hours and her death came as a severe shock to her devoted parents and relatives to whom the sympathy of the whole community is extended in their sorrow. The funeral was held Saturday, Sept. 14th at one o'clock conducted by Rev. Pett of Cedar Falls. The interment was in the Lutheran cemetery of Fairfield township.
