Edward Ammann Dies In Florida

Edward Ammann, 81, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died very suddenly on Tuesday, March 24, 1998, of a heart attack.

He was born on November 24, 1916, the son of Will and Bertha (Frey) Ammann. He graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1933. On August 17, 1940, he was united in marriage to Isabel Lindaman. He spent 2 years in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a longtime owner of Wellsburg Hardware.

Survivors are his wife, Isabel, one son Robert Ammann and his wife Karen of Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, and one daughter, Pamela Hook and husband Steven of Wellsburg. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Preceding the deceased in death were his parents.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 30.
