Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Beatty of Des Moines, brought the remains of their daughter, Fama, to Grundy Center for burial last Monday Nov. 26th. She died of typhoid pneumonia last Saturday after a short illness. She was fourteen years of age. The funeral services were conducted at the family residence in Des Moines Sunday afternoon and upon arrival here the remains were taken direct to Fairview cemetery and laid to rest beside her two brothers who died some years ago. Fama was a bright and lovable girl and will be greatly missed by her young friends, and there will be a vacancy in the home circle that no one else can fill. Mr. and Mrs. Beatty are former residents of this county and have many friends here whose sympathies go out to them in their bereavement. Mrs. Beatty is a sister of Mr. E. H. Allison with whom they stopped while in the city.
