Mrs. Nellie Myers Archer died on the night of the 19th at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Myers on Tremont street near 12th. She was the victim of consumption and recently spent six weeks in Colorado but failed to find relief. Two years since she was united in marriage to Adelbert, son of Thomas Archer living in New Hartford. The funeral services were held on Monday p.m. at the M. E. church in this city, Rev. Brown, of Janesville who had formerly preached the funeral sermon of her brother, speaking in appreciateve and feeling terms of the worthy christian character of the deceased. He was assisted by Rev. Hurlbut. A large procession attended burial in Greenwood cemetery.

She was born on the home farm in Beaver township, Grundy Co., May 18th, 1872. The deceased was a very active worker in Sabbath School and was a cabinet officer in the Epworth League.--Cedar Falls Gazette
