Ann Elizabeth Pearsall was born in Saratoga county, New York, Dec. 22, 1833, and died at her home in Grant township, Grundy county, Iowa, Jan. 27, 1895, aged 61 years, 1 month and 5 days.

She was married to Zebulum Terrall Feb. 5, 1851. In the fall of the same year they moved from New York to Wisconsin where they resided till the summer of 1867 when they became residents of Grundy county.

Deceased was a consistent christian and a devoted member of the Methodist church. Though a great sufferer for many years, yet she was ever ready with kind words and a helping hand, never thinking of self. While an aged husband and five children are left to mourn her departure, they have the consolation of knowing that she has gone to be with her Saviour whom she loved and served for nearly fifty years, and that she could say like Paul, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness."

The funeral services were held at the home Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 11 o'clock a.m., Rev. C. E. Logsdon, pastor of the M. E. church officiating. A large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last resting place in the Reinbeck cemetery.
