Mrs. Laura Viola Reeser, 49, died early Sunday at her home two miles north of Cedar Falls. Death was due to a heart attack.

She was born Jan. 27, 1907, at Hudson, the daughter of Louis and Louise Rathman. She was married to Emory Reeser of Oregon, Ill., Feb. 24, 1935. The couple resided one year at Traer before moving to a farm north of Cedar Falls, where the couple had since resided.

Survivors include her husband, two young sons, Irving J., 15, and Morris D., 10, and one brother, George Rathman, of Hudson.

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. John Raad, head of the Baptist Student Center on College Hill. Burial will be at Reinbeck.

The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home.
