Mrs. Wiltfang Dead

Mrs. Wm. Wiltfang died at her home near Parkersburg last Wednesday. Funeral services were held at the Siemsen church two miles west of Fern on Friday.

Obituary Mrs. Wm. Wiltfang

Mrs. Gertje Wiltfang, nee Konken, was born at Schott, Germany, in 1845, and died at her home in Parkersburg December 12, 1928, at the age of 83 years and 11 1/2 months. She came to America in 1873 and was married in December of that year to William Wiltfang, who died in Parkersburg five years ago. She is survived by six children, Harry, Henry, and John, Mrs. F. O. Lyons and Miss Fannie Wiltfang, of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Henry Bakker, of Springfield, Minn.; also one brother, Harm Konken, of Stout.

She had been in failing health for many months and had been tenderly cared for by her daughter, Fannie.
