INSANE WOMAN TAKES OWN LIFE

Mrs. Emma Behrends, Stout, Takes Life by Hanging

Mrs. Emma Behrends, wife of Henry Behrends, well known resident of the Stout vicinity, took her own life last Saturday afternoon by hanging.

The sad ending of her life was a great shock to the community where she was so well and favorably known, and the only cause for her rash act was that she had suddenly become demented.

A coroner's inquest was held following the finding of the body and the verdict was in accordance with the above facts.

Mrs. Behrends was about 32 years of age and leaves to mourn her death a husband, mother, Mrs. Hillert Jacobs, one half-sister and several other relatives and many friends.
