Mrs. Joe Kramer Passed Away at Her Home Friday Night of Last Week
Was a Much Loved Woman
Mrs. Joe Kramer passed away at her home in this city at 11:15 on Friday evening of last week, Oct. 20th, 1922, after lingering three or four weeks following a very serious operation that had been performed in the hope of prolonging her life.
Mrs. Kramer was the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Abels of this city, and was born in Stephenson county, Ill., and was fifty-one years of age last July 2nd.
When a small child she came from Illinois with her parents and located on a farm in this county and has lived here ever since. On December 4th, 1894, she was married to Mr. Joe Kramer, who with four daughters, Anna, Reka, Helen and Josephine, all at home, mourn the death of a kind and loving wife and mother; the aged parents and brothers and sisters an affectionate daughter and sister.
Short services were held from the home Tuesday afternoon and from the Drake church, of which she was a member, Rev. Drake officiating, assisted by Rev. Sinning, of this city. Interment was in the Drake church cemetery.
